He currently works at KUAR public radio in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he is a weekday announcer and the host of Haney's Jazz, a one-hour program aimed at familiarizing people of all ages and backgrounds with the sounds of jazz.
He has worked for WJR radio and WXYZ Channel 7 ABC in Detroit, where he became a well-known television personality and hosted a popular talk show for thirteen years. He has also worked in radio and television in Canada.
Don has a bachelor's degree in Radio and Television Arts from Wayne State University in Michigan.
